bookings.

BlocHaus is back!

we’ve missed you all terribly & couldn’t be more excited to have everyone in-haus again.

we’ll be back to our regular opening hours, with a few new health & safety measures in place. Please read about them carefully below.

bookings.

Visits to BlocHaus will be by booking only while we get back in the swing of things.

From 15 October 2021

  • bookings start every 2 hours, with a maximum of 25 people in haus at any time
  • sessions are 1 hour 45 minutes long & it’s important you are out on time to make space for the next group
  • you can book up to 1 session per day & 4 sessions per week
  • bookings can be made up to 5 days in advance

From 29 October 2021

  • bookings start every 30 minutes, but we will have a maximum of 100 people in haus at any time
  • sessions are 3 hours long & it’s important you are out on time to make space for the next group
  • you can book up to 1 session per day & 4 sessions per week
  • bookings can be made up to 5 days in advance

Everyone in haus needs to have a paid booking while capacity restrictions are in place — that goes for supervising parents & spectators too.

Cancellations: if you can’t make it to your booked session, please cancel or reschedule so that someone else can fill the spot. You can cancel or reschedule without charge up to 6 hours beforehand. No shows will be charged & repeat no shows won’t be able to make further bookings.

Late arrivals: it’s no problem if you’re late, but you’ll need to be out by the end of your session time.

Walk-ins: if you show up without a booking & there is space in that session, you will be asked to book online before coming in for a climb so our system can do the math.

masks in haus.

In line with government advice, face masks must be worn at all times in Haus except while actively climbing or eating & drinking.

Please make sure your face mask is correctly fitted, covering your nose & mouth.

memberships.

Direct debit & paid in full memberships will stay frozen until capacity restrictions are eased or you choose to reactivate.

Checking in as a member will reactivate your membership from your first visit back, but you are welcome to purchase a casual pass instead if you’d like to stay on freeze for a little while longer.

hygiene in haus.

We’ve been doing plenty of haus-keeping during our closure & have implemented increased cleaning & resetting procedures for the health & safety of our customers & crew.

We ask that you:

  • check into the ‘check in cbr’ app upon arrival & show your confirmation to our counter team
  • check in for your booked session at the counter
  • wear a face mask at all times, even when on the wall
  • properly sanitise your hands before & after your session
  • practice good coughing & sneezing hygiene
  • give others at least 1.5m of space both on & off the wall
  • use liquid chalk only & leave your powdered chalk at home
  • wear only climbing shoes on the walls & mats — no street shoes
  • keep shirts & shoes on at all times
  • wipe down fitness equipment before & after use
  • stay home if you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with someone at risk
